Last year, Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival 2009 featured the LIVEST "J.Period Live Mixtape" yet... as J. brought an all-star cast of surprise MCs to the stage including legendary Brooklyn MC, O.C. (Diggin in the Crates Crew)... Brand Nubian featuring Grand Puba, Sadat X and Lord Jamar (supporting Grand Puba's new solo album on Babygrande), and last but not least... the top secret surprise guest... Philly's Finest, the one and only Black Thought! O.C. and Brand Nubian set the crowd off with classics like "Time's Up," "Slow Down" and "Punks Jump Up," but it was Black Thought's black-out freestyle as J.Period dropped Jay-Z's "Brooklyn Go Hard" that won the day.
